People ...Yeah, I think you're right about that. People expect horror to just entertain you, not to say anything. especially not so powerfully. It actually was more like a drama than a horror film -- while watching, I wondered if it had been a play originally. But it was written as a horror film.Jack Veaseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05977307877931598517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8834048276290424708.post-58519526129050897002010-10-17T18:23:04.911-07:002010-10-17T18:23:04.911-07:00I thought this was a pretty decent flick, and very...I thought this was a pretty decent flick, and very timely (as you've said). I think that it may be a bit TOO timely and a bit TOO topical for some people, actually. In the world that we live in today, movies like this are really only a hair-breadth away from becoming reality and that bothers a lot of people. If The Final were a drama, then perhaps people would be okay with it, but the public as a whole have difficulty with horror films that deal too closely with the real world.

Just a couple of thought pennies.
--J/MetroAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
